By car
Sighisoara is well connected to the roads of Transylvania. Sibiu and Brasov are about two hours' drive away, and Medias is much closer. It's the most convenient option if you also want to explore the fortified villages nearby.

By train
Sighisoara is on railway main line 300 (Bucharest-Brasov-Sighisoara-Cluj), with direct connections from the major cities. The station is at the foot of the citadel, a short walk from the centre — handy if you come without a car.
From the station you reach Casa Roșca, at 48 Zaharia Boiu Street, on foot or with a short transfer.
By plane
The nearest airport is Targu Mures (Transylvania), about an hour from Sighisoara. The alternatives are the airports in Sibiu and Cluj, two to three hours' drive away.
